World Championships 2016 will be hosted by Czech Republic

Hotel Ali Baba in Humenné was the venue of the Extraordinary General Assembly of UNIF. The Congress among other business elected Czech Futnet Association as the host of World Championships 2016 in men’s  ategory.

The General Assembly finished the proces of moving the seat of the organisation from France to Czech Republic as the most stable futnet country and approved corresponding amendments of UNIF statutes.

The congress also decided that the next World Championships in men’s category would take place on 18 to 20 November 2016 in Brno, Czech Republic. The local organisers had already started the preparations, including negotiations with local and regional authorities and Czech Ministry of Education and Sport.

The tournament itself will be played in City Sports Hall Vodova with four courts available in two halls and total capacity of 3 100 spectators in the central hall. Brno should also be the venue of UNIF General Assembly 2016.
